Alisha first received the benefits of complimentary healthcare early in life and learned reiki as a teenager to help with her own physical injuries. This inspired her to learn more about the field in college. She graduated Southwest Institute of Healing Arts with a degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology with certifications in holistic nutrition, reflexology, aromatherapy, Toe Reading® & life path coaching. While in Phoenix she used these modalities to help patients during internships at an AIDS/HIV and an alternative cancer clinic. In 2014 she became licensed as a Nationally Board-Certified Foot Reflexologist as well perform duties as Secretary on the Massachusetts Association of Reflexology Board. In 2017 she helped to reformed the New Hampshire Reflexology Association where she sits as co-Secretary. In 2019 she went through proper training to become National Board Certified as a Hand Reflexologist with ARCB.net.
Overall, Alisha uses an integrative approach to get to the root cause of an ailment by looking at the mind-body-soul to balance all systems of the body, relieve inflammation, increase circulation and promote stress reduction. She works within Awakenings Massage & Energetic Wellness (Hampstead, NH), Serenity Massage (North Andover, MA) and open to discussing mobile reflexology for 2+ people and spa party opportunities for 4+ people.
Outside of her practice, she recently certified in the Structural Reflexology® method that she finds more effective for chronic foot problems, teaches foot-hand-ear reflexology at a community college and works on case studies to further serve the public.
In 2020, Alisha provides an introductory course within Derry Adult Ed and in the process of partnering with JOY Wellness in Salem, NH to provide a full 200-300hr professional certification program.
