Alisha Hamm, LRT
|
Alisha first received the benefits of complimentary healthcare early in life and learned reiki 18 years ago to help with her own physical injuries. This inspired her to learn more about the field in college. She graduated Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona with a degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology with certifications in holistic nutrition, reflexology, aromatherapy, & Toe Reading®.
While in the Phoenix area she used these modalities to help patients during internships at an AIDS/HIV and an alternative cancer clinic. In 2014 she became licensed as a Nationally Board-Certified Foot Reflexologist, in order to forfill New Hampshire license requirement, as well perform duties as Secretary on the Massachusetts Association of Reflexology Board and work in both states. In 2017 she helped to reformed the New Hampshire Reflexology Association where she sits currently as Vice President. In 2019 she went through proper training to become National Board Certified as a Hand Reflexologist with the American Reflexology Certification Board, making her a nationally double-board certified Reflexologist!
For the last 10 years, Alisha has enjoyed taking continuing education credits for immune boosting protocols with Touchpoint, digestive relief reflexology with Seattle Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage Reflexology (LDR) with Sally Kay, Emotional Release Reflexology (ERR) with Helga Dittman, and Structural Reflexology with Geraldine Villenueve.
Inbetween she worked on creating "massaging mounds" for Squeaky Clean Feet, a local invention and was adjunct faculty with White Mountains Community College, Foot Reflexology Course.
At the start of COVID she focused efforts in training to learn more about frequency therapy/biofeedback with HealyWorld which she now incorporates in sessions physically and remotely. These Healy Class 2 Medical Devices are FDA approved for Pain & Arthritis in the USA and for even more conditions in Europe.
Since 2021, Alisha resiliently has mentored students with foot and hand reflexology workshops and proud to have some who went on to become licensed with the American Reflexology Certification Board! Her program is currently the only one aimed to licensure in the state of New Hampshire.
Overall, Alisha uses an integrative approach in her private practice to get to the root cause of an ailment by looking at the mind-body-soul to balance all systems of the body, relieve inflammation, increase circulation and promote stress reduction.
